Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to participate in a recreational prediction pool in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for ensuring your participation is lawful where you live.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for all activity under your account. Keep your credentials secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Entry and fees

The pool entry fee is $40 per entry. Entries are final once paid and are non-refundable except at our discretion. Your virtual $10,000 budget and roster rules are described on the Rules page, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

4. Prizes

100% of entry fees are pooled and distributed to the top three finishers: 50% to first place, 30% to second, 20% to third. The pool operator takes no cut. Prize distribution is handled between participants after the tournament concludes.

5. Fair play

• Each person may enter once. Duplicate, fake, or automated entries may be disqualified without refund.
• Attempting to exploit bugs, manipulate scoring, or interfere with other participants will result in disqualification.
• Our scoring calculations, tiebreakers, and final standings are binding. We reserve the right to correct errors in scoring up to the official conclusion of the pool.

6. Changes to rules

Pool rules are intended to remain stable once the tournament begins. Before the first kickoff we may adjust rules or scoring to fix errors or clarify ambiguity. Any material changes after kickoff will be announced on the site.

7. No affiliation with FIFA or teams

This is a fan-made, unofficial site. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FIFA, any national federation, any team, or any player. Team names, logos, flags, and related trademarks belong to their respective owners.

8. Acceptable use

• Don’t use the site for anything unlawful.
• Don’t attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it abusively, or reverse engineer it.
• Don’t impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.
• Don’t post content that is harassing, defamatory, or infringing.

9. Disclaimers

The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or prize winnings arising out of your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the amount of the entry fee you paid.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the pool operator is based, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be signaled by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
